A hostel building has reportedly sunk and collapsed at Federal Polytechnic, Oko, Anambra State.
The multi-storey building collapsed on Sunday night, July 27, 2026, while students were inside.
People living nearby said they heard a loud noise before the building collapsed.
The sound attracted many residents and students, who rushed to the scene.
Rescue efforts are still ongoing.
Details of casualties remain unconfirmed.
